Our three experienced dentists combine each of their specialties to give you the best possible care that we can. Dr. Theron Manson, DDS

Dr. Theron Manson, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Theron Manson was raised in British Columbia but now calls Seattle his home. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington. He has many areas of interest, including sleep dentistry (for individuals with sleep apnea), Invisalign braces, and other orthodontic therapies. In order to stay abreast of the latest patient care techniques, Dr. Theron completes as many as 200 hours of continuing education every year.

Dr. Theron Manson earned his MAGD in dentistry; MAGD stands for Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning Mastership takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Less than 2 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Masters. When you see a dentist with MAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry.

He and his wife, Connie, have two boys. They enjoy skiing, hiking, and traveling together. Dr. Theron also enjoys coaching his sons’ athletic activities.

Dr. David Chi, DDS

Dr. David Chi grew up in Kirkland and is happy to return to practice dentistry in his hometown. After receiving his Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University, Dr. David pursued a career in management consulting before returning to Seattle to attend the prestigious University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. David invests heavily in his dental education, spending 100+ hours on continuing education each year. His training has allowed him to perform many advanced procedures, including dental implant placements and surgical extractions of impacted wisdom teeth.

Dr. Chi earned his FAGD in Dentistry, FAGD stands for Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning a Fellowship takes dedication to dental continuing education (CE) beyond graduation. Only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada are AGD Fellows. When you see a dentist with FAGD after their name, you can rest assured that they care about knowing the latest techniques and best practices in dentistry.

Outside the office, Dr. David enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. He has a passion for tennis, golf, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and all else the beautiful Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Dr. Connie Manson, DDS

Dentist

Dr. Connie Manson grew up in Seattle and spent many happy years at the University of Washington, obtaining a BA in English Literature and a BS in Biochemistry. She then found herself sitting next to Dr. Theron in dental school, and the rest is history. Connie received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2002 and dedicated her career to caring for under-served families all around Seattle.

Cheering on her boys at their sporting events is one of her all-time favorite activities. Camping, hiking, and enjoying a good book are also high on her list. If she is not in her garden, you may find her volunteering for the PTA, taking a slow run around the neighborhood, or trying to convince her husband that the backyard could surely use some chickens.

Dental Hygienist

Christina is no stranger to the Manson & Chi Dentistry practice, as she was Dr. Theron’s dental assistant before taking the leap to go back to school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. To her, being a dental hygienist means having the opportunity to improve the overall health of her patients. She’s passionate about helping her patients become in charge of their oral health through education, demonstration, and support. Christina has lived in the greater Seattle area her entire life. Growing up in a very active family, she was able to enjoy all the PNW has to offer, such as snowboarding, water skiing, and camping. However, on a gloomy day, don’t be surprised if you run into her at Target!

Courtney

Dental Assistant

Courtney was born and raised in Texas, where she met her husband, who is originally from Washington. She has been in the dental field since 2006 and joined Manson & Chi Dentistry in 2021. As a registered dental assistant, Courtney anticipates the doctor’s needs with diligence and precision, providing a compassionate, prime experience in a timely manner. Outside of the office, Courtney likes to be outdoors to see the beautiful nature, enjoys mud runs, and spends time with her family.

Cindy Kay

Business Team

Cindy Kay has been in the dental field since 2008 and has been with the Manson family for several years. She has overwhelming experience in the dental field and an AA in Accounting. She is part of the Business Team and works with patients to ensure that what they experience, from when they call Manson & Chi Dentistry to when they walk out the door, is a positive one. She believes the dental field chose her when she went back to work after being a stay-at-home mom (which is still her favorite job to date!). She finds working with patients quite rewarding and treasures the relationships formed. When she is not in the office, Cindy thoroughly enjoys riding her bicycle on trails around her home area and on Snoqualmie Pass. She is a PNW Native and a lover of all things nature. She also loves cross-country skiing in the winter and reading and listening to audiobooks. Above all else, she is a devoted mom, and hanging out with her now-adult children remains her favorite thing to do.
